The Outlaw Dinner Series

What We Do

We throw high ticket dinner parties and invite community leaders, professionals, foodies, and civic-minded folks to discuss social connection and equity in KC. The profits pay for our free community dinner parties.

What We Have

  • Talented high-end chefs

  • A delicious, five-course menu

What We Need

  • Donations of food, grocery store gift cards, and alcohol

Community Dinner Parties

What We Do

We host a monthly free meal and turn it into a dinner party. We use this gathering as a chance to enjoy nourishing food, trade stories, and share in our hopes and dreams for this city, as well as its struggles. We ask questions and listen, building future events and programs from the feedback we receive.

  • Partnerships with great organizations throughout Kansas City

  • Volunteer chefs

  • Donations of food, grocery store gift cards, and alcohol

  • Donations of community space

The Outlaw Kitchen Meal Prep

What We Do

We partner with chefs and farms in the KC area to prep fresh, local meals that will keep you full and fueled all day long. Order each week to have readymade meals that energize you, while the profits pay for our Microgrant program.

What We Have

  • A head chef

  • A merry crew of volunteers

  • Partnerships with local chefs and farms

What We Need

  • Volunteers to deliver meals

  • Donations of kitchen space and ingredients

  • Corporate sponsors who want to offer their employees fresh, local meals while supporting local business

The Merry OUtlaw Microgrants

What We Do

We give away $1,000 grants to local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and creatives. Our grants help recipients overcome financial barriers without acquiring debt. We want to help passionate, motivated individuals who are making change, because we know our city is stronger when people are supported in bringing their dreams and ideas to life.

What We Have

  • Funds raised from The Outlaw Kitchen Meal Prep

  • Partnerships with other organizations that support KC entrepreneurs

What We Need

  • Nominations for people doing good work in KC

  • Applicants who could change their future with $1,000

  • Partnerships with community organizations

#TMOPortraitProject

What We Do

Stories are a powerful tool for promoting empathy and understanding. Even if we’ve never been in somebody else’s position, listening to their stories can build a bridge of compassion and connection. The goal of TMO’s Portrait Project is to create a stronger Kansas City by sharing our stories and cultivating valuable connections with one another.

What We Have

  • An amazing photographer and portrait space

What We Need

  • People who want to share some of their stories and have their portrait taken!
