TMO portrait project
Stories are a powerful tool for promoting empathy and understanding. Even if we’ve never been in somebody else’s position, listening to their stories can build a bridge of compassion and connection. The goal of TMO’s Portrait Project is to create a stronger Kansas City by sharing our stories and cultivating valuable connections with one another.
Would you want to share your story on the TMO Portrait Project? Send us an email with your contact information and we’ll let you know when our next shoot is. If you sign up, we’ll ask for your name, preferred pronouns*, and give you some prompts for a story or message you’d like to share.
*A note on preferred gender pronouns or PGPs:
If you’re new to the concept of pronouns, we want to keep it simple and straightforward for you. Preferred gender pronouns are the words a person would like you to use when talking to them or about them. Some of the common pronouns are she/her, he/his, and they/them. We ask people their pronouns to keep it simple. Tell us how you like to be addressed and we’ll address you that way.
